A strange pink sky lit the night in Mildura, Australia, making people wonder what in the world it is. Tammy Szumowski, a resident, was driving home one day when they saw this. The family thought the world was going to end. While that was their thought, others looked for an explanation to this mysterious pink sky.
Anne Webster, a lawmaker representing that area, said that she was driving home when she noticed an unusually large pink glow. Her first thought as thinking like a lawyer was that there was a logical explanation for this. There was an explanation, as a matter of fact, it was from a medical cannabis facility that was on the outer part of Mildura. This pink glow gave away their previously secret location, which was kept secret because of what they sell. This happened when they were testing out LED lights and it reflected off the clouds. This created a ghostly effect that frightened and enchanted 56,000 residents.
In 2016, Australia legalized the cultivation of cannabis. Prescriptions spiked in the next two years, because many Australians turned to cannabis for relief. There are estimated to be 70,000 Australians using cannabis, and many use medical cannabis for pain relief. In the meantime, they are getting things sorted out, the pink sky really caught the attention of many in Mildura.
