England and Australia will face each other in the Netball world cup at the CTICC (Cape Town International Convention Centre) at 17:00 bst (British summer time).

In the match England played before Australia, it was tight after every quarter. But eventually, England escaped a tie, dramatically winning against New Zealand in fourth quarter so they could advance to face Australia. Australia, who lost to England in the group stage, beat Jamaica in order to earn face-off with England once again in the finals. Australia was an 11-time world champion in the sport. But, England is a big challenge for them. England covered their shaky offense with a great defence.

A passionate Layla Guscoth, Roses defender and co-captain, told BBC Sport: “I can’t believe it,” “We’ve had so much criticism over the last year [after no medal at the 2022 Commonwealth Games]”.
