Lewis Capaldi arranged a special event for 2023 at Glastonbury. While being a famous idol he suffers from anxiety, Tourette’s syndrome, and depression. While singing for his fans during the show, he lost his voice and he was moved and surprised that the crowd sang in his place during the show.

After giving an apology to the crowd and telling them his voice “was packing in,” his band began playing Someone You Loved. The whole crowd sang the song in place of Lewis Capaldi. At the end of the show, he explained he was going to take a break over the next couple of weeks and told his fans that they probably won’t be seeing him for the whole rest of the year.

After the show, he said he would like to take his weeks off by spending it with friends and family as it helped him get calmer and made him feel normal and joy as he said he’s last goodbyes during the show.

As he was off stage, he talked about his mental health issues and how its effecting his job. He was having a few panic attacks and said that if it got to the point where he gets mentally worse, he would just walk away from music.
