Estimated to reach a bid of two million, a slim-silk gown wore by Princess Leia (played by Carrie Fisher) in the first ever Star Wars film, A New Hope, was left unsold at the Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction this week.

Expected to fetch a price of 2 million, it is rather obvious that officials overestimated the value of the dress. The highest bid failed to meet the seller’s minimum sell price at $1,000,000. The highest bid stopped at a final price of $975,000, a difference of $25,000 from the minimum listed.

The company behind the auction, though, is still actively accepting offers after the failed auction.

“It may be sold after the auction in a private-treaty sale, or may be re-offered again in a future auction,” the company expressed to NPR. They were not going to give up a “priceless” gown featuring the last scenes of A New Hope.
