Scooter is a seven-year-old dog. His breed is the Chinese crested dog. His body has no hair, but he has a white mane on his head. His back legs face backwards, and he keeps his tongue out all the time.

His special looks made him win the 2023 World’s Ugliest Dog contest. The World’s Ugliest Dog contest has been going on for more than 50 years. One of the judges said that Scooter looks like a hairy hippo. Even though Scooter can’t use his back legs, he can walk on his front legs. He can even jump and climb stars using only his front legs.

Walking on his front legs is very tiring, so Scooter needs to rest a lot. Scooter rests by sitting on his bottom. Scooter has been given a special cart with wheels so he can go faster.

Scooter impressed the judges at the World’s Ugliest Dog contest. He was given first place prize right at the start. Scooter received a trophy and 1,500 dollars.

For this year, no dog has been like Scooter.
