Mexico City Shatters Old World Record of Biggest Boxing Class

By: Yilin Zhao

Up for some boxing? Well, 15 former and current Mexicans joined together to teach a huge boxing class at the Zocalo, which is the main square in Mexico City. They also did not just join to teach a boxing class, they also set a world record for most attendees at a boxing class, with an astonishing 14,299 attendees learning under only 15 boxers.

This is amazing not because of the numbers. but the biggest reason was that it annihilated the last record, which was held by Russians, with a big boxing class in the Red Square, there were exactly 3,250 people, which is still a lot, but not much compared to the Mexicans.

The attendees also decided to all wear colors of the Mexican flag, covering the whole square with beautiful colors.

The class itself is a bit intense as you only get two 20-second breaks throughout the entire class, which lasts 30 minutes.

Pretty big class, isn’t it? Just imagine commanding 14,299 people with only 15 people!
