Boxing is a difficult sport. It can damage body parts. Most adults that participate in this sport are usually in their prime. Now, children are starting to box. Many people think that this is wrong, as children’s boxing is banned in some states. In other states, parents enroll their children in boxing to teach them self-defense. But boxing at such a young age can be damaging, especially to the brain.
In the state of California, there are many children competing in championships for boxing. Many must lose weight to simply be qualified. Many must fly from their hometown to participate in the event and stay in hotels. One child competitor, Isaiah Triana, recently won the U.S. Fight League national championship. Douglas Vileforte helped train Isaiah for his boxing matches. To prepare for his fight, Isaiah put on his gear, which consisted of headgear, a protective cup, and a mouthpiece, to protect him from any hits. Before the fight, Isaiah did a Billionaire Strut mimicking the movements of his favorite boxer, Conor McGregor. Isaiah quickly bested his first opponent. He got out the ring, texted his father, and waited. Boxing is a very competitive sport.
There were many equally good fighters as Isaiah that were fighting in the tournament. Among them was the Lee family. Sometimes, even families join. The Lee family comes from a long line of fighters. Angela and Christian Lee fight in company One, “Asia’s largest martial arts promotion.” Victoria, their younger sister, became the youngest boxer to fight for One at sixteen.
On Isaiah’s next turn to box, he prayed on the mat before fighting. His trainer encouraged him while he was fighting, yelling so that Isaiah could hear him. Isaiah soon tossed his opponent into submission, winning the MMA title. Isaiah said that this was his third title. He FaceTimed his father, who was proud of his son.
