Michaela Togia is a ten-year-old Aussie girl who loves playing Football. Togia is already playing against the best in Sydney.

She will travel to Manchester next January to compete in more tournaments. Most players will be aged 10 to 19, and Togia will be the youngest and smallest out of everyone competing at the showcase.

“There were 60 girls at the showcase and I was a little nervous because I was the youngest and smallest there, but I just gave it my all and had fun,” Michaela said.

When the showcase ended the scouts were proud to say that Togia was qualified to compete more in the future and had passed the showcase.

“Hearing that from them put a big smile on my face,” she says. Togia is also a really big Tottenham Hotspur fan and wanted to be on a team just like them.

She says that one day she would like to represent Australia on the international level. “I hope to one day make my country proud, just like Sam Kerr and Ellie Carpenter,” Togia said.

She added that she was so grateful that her family and friends supported her dreams of becoming the best in Australia.

“To think that in a few months’ time I’ll be playing in the U.K. is like a dream come true,” Togia said.
