‘Little Mermaid’ evil villain voice actor, Pat Carroll, died at the age of 95 over the weekend. According to a Hollywood Reporter who asked Carroll’s other daughter, Kerry, Carroll died in her house on Saturday in Massachusetts. On an Instagram post, her daughter Tara Karasian, wrote, “[i]t is with a heavy heart that I write that my mother, Pat Carroll, has passed away at the grand old age of 95.” It says on the same text, “[t]here is nothing more beautiful than Pat Carroll laughing.”
In an article it says, “Carroll leaves behind her two daughters Kerry and Tara Karsian. She was previously married to Lee Karsian from 1955 to 1976. Her son Sean Karsian died in 2009.”
Carroll’s had a successful life in her acting career starring in many shows and movies. Carroll first got famous when she got an Emmy Award on this show called “Caesar’s Hour,” which was a comedy ‘a TV mainstay’. She also starred on Doris Day, voiced acted in the English dub of ‘My Neighbor Totoro’, ‘Freedom writers’, and ‘Nancy Drew.’ She got a Tony and a Grammy for being a part of ‘Catch a Star!’ and ‘Gertrude Stein, Gertrude Stein, Gertrude Stein.’ She was also featured on game shows like, “’To Tell the Truth,’ “Match Game,” “I’ve Got a Secret,” “Password,” “You Don’t Say” and ‘The $10,000 Pyramid.’” She was featured in a lot of different shows but most known in the world as the original voice actor of Ursula, the main villain in the 1989 film of ‘The Little Mermaid.’
Fans will sure miss her voice acting and acting in general, being given many awards for that. R.I.P Pat Carroll!
