According to their website, Mega Millions announced that one lucky winner’s ticket was sold at a Speedway gas station in Des Plaines. Those winning numbers were 13-36-45-57-67, and the Mega Ball was 14.

The jackpot grew so large because no one had picked the game’s six numbers since April 15. There were 29 different draws without a jackpot winner.

It wasn’t just the winner who took all that money home. The seller of that ticket would also receive $500,000.

Right after the jackpot was won, the winner was warned to not tell anyone that they won because then there could be scammers and the people that would ask for some of that money.
