His last video, named “so long nerds,” had the highest number of views on his channel with, 60 million. In his video, his dad introduced him as “Alex” (short for Alexander).

Technoblade wrote a message and asked his dad to read it in the final video. He wrote, “If I had another hundred lives, I think I would choose to be Technoblade again every single time, as those were the happiest years of my life.”

“I hope you guys enjoyed my content and that I made some of you laugh, and I hope you all go on to live long, prosperous and happy lives because I love you guys.”

Minecraft, the game he is most famous for, paid him a tribute. They added a new feature to the game. Technoblade’s avatar is a pig standing upright, wearing a crown. Minecraft made it so whenever you named a pig “Technoblade,” it will wear a crown.

According to Technoblade’s website (technoblade.com), a portion of all profits from online merch orders will go to an organization called Sarcoma Foundation of America.

Members of the Hypixel Minecraft community also paid tribute to him through an organized memorial on hypixel.net.

The group of admins who organized the tribute posted, “We at Hypixel are deeply saddened by the announcement released by Technoblade’s family that he has passed away after his long-fought battle with cancer.” Technoblade then became one of the most internationally adored YouTubers with over 10 million subscribers. Beyond his considerable success, he was a dear friend to many of us on the team and in the community.”

“Additionally, the Hypixel and Hytale teams will be donating $50,000 to the Sarcoma Foundation of America in Technoblade’s memory.”

The ending paragraph explained, “With the consent of his family, we’ll also be establishing a tribute to Technoblade in the Hypixel main lobby. The memorial, which will be open until the end of July, will allow players to add themselves to a book of condolences. We’ll later have the book moderated, physically printed, and presented to Technoblade’s family.”

“Rest in peace Technoblade. We will miss you dearly, friend.”

Even though Alex has passed, as he said in his videos, “Technoblade never dies.” His legacy lives on.
