The K-pop group, BTS, has officially decided that they are going on a break. This band announced their decision over a dinner that they recorded and posted on social media.

Kim Namjoon, also known as RM, is the group’s leader. He said that after years of working, the group has lost its direction, according to the recorded video’s translation.

Kim Seokjin, – also known as Jin – one of the vocalizers, stated that he has his own hobbies, and things he wants to do on his own. Min Yoongi, – also known as Suga – the lead rapper, said that it’s been quite the struggle to come up with lyrics for their songs that mean something.

BTS noted that they need to take a few steps back and grow and mature as individuals. RM said that they need to go on and do their own thing. “I want BTS to go on for a long time,” he said. This means that BTS is going on a break. Thankfully, they have promised to return, so we will hear new songs in a while.
