Diary of a Wimpy Kid is a famous series. I bet you have heard of it and read it. So how did this book get so much attention?

In 2007, Diary of a Wimpy Kid was published. Just a year later, in 2008, more than 100,000 copies were printed. That’s a lot of books in just a year! As the success of the first book was growing, Jeff Kinney, the author of Diary of a Wimpy Kid, decided to make a sequel to the first book, titled Rodrick Rules.

After a while, Rodrick Rules became a hit and Jeff Kinney decided to create more and more Diary of a Wimpy Kid books. His first book even became a movie in 2009! Diary of a Wimpy Kid would later win many awards and become a New York Times bestseller. Jeff Kinney is still writing these books, and each one keeps selling more millions of copies!

Later, many more books were published and made into movies. There are even books talking about how they made the scenes from the real book into movies! Overall, Diary of a Wimpy Kid is one of the best books out there. That may be an opinion, but I really love it.

In conclusion, Diary of A Wimpy Kid is my favorite book. There are no cons about it; there are no bad reviews about it, or anything. The book is really close to perfect. If you have not heard of Diary of a Wimpy Kid, you have to try it.
