On July 15, England beat North Ireland 5-0 during the Euro Cup 2022 to top their group. They also beat Norway 8-0 on July 7. England was the favorite after hosting the Women’s Euro 2022.

However, North Ireland was eliminated after losing to Norway, Austria and England.

England’s Manager Wiegman tested positive before Friday July 15 leaving their assistant manager to coach the team. However, that did not stop them from a great performance on the pitch.

The Match Began

In the 40th minute Chelsea player Fran Kirby scored for England. Kirby is the current top scorer for England in the Euro Cup. Beth Mad added 1 more goal to her arsenal just before half time. Then the substitute Alessia Russo scored 2 goals in 5 minutes to make it 4-0 before North Ireland scored an auto goal to make it 5-0.

North Ireland finish bottom of the group losing all of their games. England will be facing Spain on July 20 3:00 pm.
