In Dubai, Muslims have banned the movie “Lightyear” from being played because of a quick scene of a kiss between two Lesbian people. This is a major problem for Disney as “Lightyear” is one of their biggest projects and it had been analyzed that it could grow by over 100 million dollars in one week.

The scene showed a female character quickly kissing another female, which caused Muslim countries to ban the movie from the cinemas as they have laws that don’t allow same-gender relationships.

Many Muslims considered lesbians to be sinful, and people from the LGBTQ group have been arrested or even sentenced to death.

This one small scene caused chaos throughout Muslim countries.

So, Disney decided to cut the scene, but due to the many protests from Pixar employees, Disney brought back the scene.
