Have you noticed that a lot of people really like Minecraft lately? When Minecraft came out in 2011, news spread around quickly. Now in 2022, there are almost 3.2 million people playing Minecraft!
The number one reason people like Minecraft so much is that it includes ton of ownership and creativity. Minecraft lets you create your own mini world. Your imagination is endless, and you can let it take charge. You have freedom to do whatever you want to do, because you can’t do some things in the real world like what you can do in Minecraft. Your world belongs to you and you only.
The second reason Minecraft is so popular is because it has influencer impact. Minecraft is a topic of the content created by many influencers on different social media platforms. For example, millions of viewers watch people on YouTube play Minecraft regularly. Minecraft’s content exceeded 200 billion views on YouTube in 2020.
The third reason is that you can play in different modes. For instance, do you want to play slow and relaxed? You can try the creative mode. You can do whatever you want in creative mode. It is calm and peaceful. You can build houses, bridges, and a lot of other things! Are you in for some fearsome battles and thrill? Maybe the survival mode would be your preference. Do you still want to try something else? Go on a server and play with some other gamers. Minecraft allows you to do anything you want to. If you’d rather just want to watch others play, go to spectator mode. There are so many modes to try in Minecraft! Good luck!
The fourth reason so many people like Minecraft is that it has simplicity. Minecraft does not include long instructions or a manual to read, or even something like a demo. As soon as you start playing it, you will get the hang of it. When I played it, it only took me about ten minutes to get the hang of it! You can also figure out what works out best for you and what works well together. There are blocks everywhere for you to create whatever to want. Have fun!
The fifth reason is that it can be educational! You can learn how things work, like making a stop watch with Redstone, make a trap or secret base with circuits, and much more! There are also some educational things like working as a team, stocking up on extra things we need, and getting ready to solve problems! They also have single-player and multiplayer modes. Suppose that a child is not comfortable playing in a group in real life. In multiplayer mode, they can work with someone else online and they can help each other. You can even experiment with Redstone and make a watch or something. Minecraft also has a peaceful mode for little kids. It prevents younger kids from getting scared by facing monsters, mobs, or any kind of violence in the game.
My experience of playing Minecraft is you can’t play it in a rush, or the game will end really quickly. I continue to play it because it can help my patience and I enjoy playing it with my dad! I would probably rate it 10 out of 10. I like exploring all over the world. You can create as many worlds as you want. I highly recommend you to play Minecraft.
Almost 200 million copies of Minecraft were sold in 2021! It also can kill time when you are bored. There will be an update soon, where you’ll be able to kill even more time! The update will include new mobs, biomes, and will have fixed a lot of bugs, so it can be even more fun! That’s what makes Minecraft so popular.
