A letter to the authors of “TikTok, Trump and an Impulse to Act as C.E.O. to Corporate America.”

Dear Ms. Ana Swanson and Mr. Michael D Shear,

I recently reviewed your opinion article about the actions undertaken by the current President of the United States, Donald Trump. In your article, you have expressed many ideas and comments aimed against Donald Trump. In your article, you have focused on Trump’s actions especially on the corporate affairs of the USA. For example, you have pointed out how Trump used his efforts and power to work against non-American tech giants such as TikTok while providing the reason that it provides the CCP with access to American user data. Your article has caught me considering the possible reasons why Mr. Trump would consider enacting such actions. However, you have also included negative actions Mr. Trump has initiated domestic American companies such as General Motors and Boeing due to their own China related operations as mentioned in your article. Even though I favoured how you explained the issue from an perspective against the president, I would like to suggest that maybe you can look at the issues from more perspective next time, especially an perspective against the CCP as the CCP have also undertaken many unlawful actions. Thank you for the article.

Sincerely, An reader.
