1. Find a safe place to stay. This could be a cave (you find these naturally when you explore), a treehouse (you can build one with wood you get from trees), or even just a hole in the ground (simply dig two blocks deep and put a block above you to no let any mobs get you).
2. Start gathering resources. You’ll need wood, stone, and other materials to build things and survive.
3. Craft tools and weapons. These will help you defend yourself from hostile mobs and gather resources more easily. These include axes, swords, pickaxes, shovels, and bows (you can also get tridents which you obtain by killing drowns with one). But, you first need a crafting table to be able to craft more tools. You get them by entering your inventory, turning the wood blocks into planks, and placing four around each other. To learn more crafts, go to Minecraft Crafting.
4. Explore the world. There are many different biomes to discover, each with its unique challenges and rewards. For example, getting the eye of enders and beating the ender dragon can lead you to an end city so you can get cool loot and craft shulkers so that your storage space is bigger. 5. Build something amazing. Whether it’s a simple house or a complex castle, Minecraft is all about creativity.
6. Have fun! Minecraft is a game, so don’t forget to enjoy yourself.
Forgot to mention: Minecraft is now run by Mojang and it is now purchased by Microsoft.
