My sister
Sophia
Sometimes
She is a
DEMON BABY
Screaming, crying
Kicking, punching
“It’s all your fault!”
Well, everything’s my fault
According to her
So why listen?
She makes me want to SCREAM
She’s tearing me apart
Attacking at all my weak spots
It’s a shame
Sisters know exactly where
To hit to make it hurt
My heart breaks
As the words
“I hate you!”
Flood my mind
My heart breaks
Yet it also shakes
With fury
Hateful words swirl
In my mind
“You’re the worst sissy ever!”
“I can’t believe I loved you.”
“YOU!”
“GO AWAY!”
“FINE!”
Revenge is coming your way!
My fists clench
I’ve got nasty pranks
Up my sleeve
And now
I’m ready to use them
“THIS MEANS WAR!”
But then, an hour later
“I’m sorry, sissy.”
It’s like a million Band-Aids
Patching up what
Was broken
Soon, we’re laughing
Playing
Sinking our hands
Into slime
All is well.
Yet again.
Then it starts all over again.
