After a long, dark night,

There is a glimpse of light.

The sound of birds chirping,

As I watch the sun rise.

A sunrise brings

A new day, with new hope.

New challenges, new surprises,

And a second chance.

As the sun peeks its head above the horizon,

I think, “Today will be a good day.”

Sunrises are peaceful,

Symbolizing a new start.

The sun slowly rises,

Reaching higher and higher up in the sky.

A sunrise holds promise,

And I embrace today.
