The Spy (part 5)

By: Alyssa Hong

As Alexander slipped into his nightgown, he thought about where Luna was. Somewhere in Syria, but exactly where? Aleppo? Homs? Alexander didn’t even know how he knew either of those, as he had slept through most of the history and geography classes, but he doubted Luna was in either Homs or Aleppo. “Hi. Yes, this is Agent Hale.” Alexander responded.

“Great. Remember when we told you we would call you back when we needed your help?” The other person asked.

“Yeah?” Alexander said.

“We need you to go to Syria. We have found and pinned Luna’s current location.”

“What?! Where is she?!” Alexander said.

“In Syria, obviously!” The person said.

“ Where in Syria?!”

“ I don’t know! The HQ has that information! No-“

Then, Alexander hung up, either out of fury or just frustration.
