There was a kid named Jake, who loved pets. One day when he was visiting the pet store, he found a hawk. The hawk could speak and tell other secrets. Nobody in the store knew the bird could talk, so Jake bought the bird and named it Winglet.

Every day Jake taught Winglet how to find secrets. For example, Jake taught Winglet how to find treasure, and Winglet got very good at it.

When they grew up, Jake became a pirate. He brought Winglet with him, so he earned lots and lots of treasure and had a big crew. One day there was a storm, and everything on Jake’s ship got ripped to pieces.

Jake and Winglet lived in a barrel until they found an island. They swam toward it and built a ship using wood and mud. Later, they built a very strong ship and sailed away.

Jake became an ornithologist instead of a pirate and trained lots of birds to be like Winglet.
