A combination known all over the world and probably the cosmos

One of the most appraised and popular foods

An entire meal

Seemingly compacted into one miniscule yet filling bite

Making it perfect for a noon’s lunch

Or any time at all

The divine invention of sushi

I would not know what to do

Without the sweet, savory and salty taste of it

Without the spectacular aromas and crispy yet soft textures

The rice, seaweed and fish that tie all of it together

What would I do without it

I would simply burst into flames

I am simply your number one fan, sushi

I will always bow before your delicious presence

I’m forever grateful that you exist

That you have blessed my taste buds one bite at a time
