Child, I will tell you the story of how I created the BAs.

I was lonely and sad

Nothing to do during the pandemic

I cried every day, I was so bored

I missed my friends

But

One day

I listened to “Dynamite”

By the famous K-pop group BTS

It was good

I couldn’t stop playing it

That was only before I heard “Butter”

Then, it was another song

One song turned into ten songs

Everything was good

Until I realized that they will disband one day

They would have to go do military service

I found a BLACKPINK documentary

Listened to “Ddu-Du-Ddu-du”

It was new, different, something I’d never heard before

And again, one song turned into 28 songs

I introduced it to my BFF, Ellie

We started out as ARMYs

Then Ellie got Covid

So, I had to talk with another friend

We both liked BLACKPINK

We introduced Ellie to BLACKPINK

And created the BLINK ARMYs, or the BAs.
