Once there were two birds named Jerry-1 and Jerry-2. When the two birds (which are parrots) learned to fly, they set their missions to survive one month alone together. The Jerry’s flew away and into the forest.

Later at sunset, the birds were continuing flying. They landed on a tree near the middle of the forest. “It sure is a nice view from up here!” said Jerry-1. Jerry-2 asked, “can we go find food? That is our main thing to survival.”

When they flew to the forest floor, they started to search for bugs. Later, they still had not found a single worm. Jerry-2 complained, “I can’t find a single bug!” Jerry-1 said, “Well, I haven’t found one either! Stop complaining!” Jerry-1 one later got ready for sleep but Jerry-2 was still searching. Jerry-1 was annoyed by Jerry-2’s yelling, “where are the bugs?!”

Much later, a yell came from below the tree. Jerry-2 laughed, “I got a worm!” Jerry-2 ate it in one gulp. Then a snake came. Jerry-2 screamed, “a snake is crawling up the tree!” Jerry-1 came flying out and landed beside Jerry-2. While they flew to a safer part, Jerry-1 found something sticking out of the ground. Jerry-1 told Jerry-2 about the mysterious thing. They did not know that the thing was a sensor that could summon a Bird-Eating monster. It can track the directions where they are going, but it cannot sense or track things over 1 mile.

While they were sleeping on the highest tree they could find, they didn’t know that the tree had a squirrel and a little worm. The squirrel and worm were best friends. As Jerry-1 and 2 made the tree their new home, the squirrel and worm thought that the birds were too loud.

The worm said, “if those birds don’t go away, they will have to face my super bird take-down move!” The squirrel asked, “how are you going to do that?” The worm said that the thing was a secret.

Later the bids came back and searched for food. While Jerry-2 was busy, Jerry-1 went up the tree. They did not know what was coming for them. The worm hid in an acorn. As Jerry-1 tried to bust open acorns to find a worm, the worm snuck closer in the acorn and then…… SMASH!!

Jerry-1 screamed, “my beak! It is hurt!” as Jerry-2 came up and landed beside Jerry-1, the worm struck again! They decided to take their mission elsewhere. After surviving a month, they went home and lived in the tree where they were born. They smiled at each other. Jerry-1 said, “well, it’s a mission accomplished!”
