Germany Beats Scotland in the First Euro 2024 Game

In the first Euro Cup 2024 game, a very popular football competition where Eurpoean football teams play each other for the championship, Scotland was up against Germany in a battle for victory on June 14, 2024. Thousands of fans sat with anticipation in the Allianz Arena stadium. But unfortunately for Scotland, Germany crushed Scotland with the final score being 5-1.

In the first ten minutes of the match, things were already looking shaky for Scotland, with Germany’s Florian Wirtz scoring the first goal tobecome the youngest German player to score in the European Championships at 21. Then, Jamal Musiala scored the second goal for Germany less than ten minutes later. The third goal was scored by Kai Havertz on a penalty kick, after Scotland’s Porteous poor tackle resulted in Porteous being sent off the field right before half time, leaving his team with only ten players.

After half time, Niclas Füllrug brought the score to 4-0 with his powerful kick, roaring theGerman fans hyped up for victory. Twenty minutes later, Scotland fans finally celebrated their first goal scored by Scott Mckenna’s free kick that bounced off of Germany’s Antonio Rudiger and into the goal. But Scotland’s fate was sealed when Emre Can scored a goal in the last few minutes, leading Germany to victory by a long shot.

It was a long and well fought battle for Scotland, who had several moments of dominance, but with the Germans standing on home ground, they won comfortably.
