England beat Slovenia without letting them score a single goal. But in the end, England, nicknamed the “Three Lions,” was booed by the fans. England was already through to the knockout stage of the tournament before the game.

England’s manager, Gareth Southgate, understood why they were getting negative replies from fans. Then he told the team that he is proud of them and that they should ignore the boos from the fans.
Southgates contract with the Football Association ends in December. Southgate has been in charge for eight years and people wonder if he is the person to lead England to victory.

“I understand it. I’m not going to back away from it. The most important thing here is that the supporters stay with the team.” Gareth Southgate said.

England has some good news for England in the knockout stage for the soccer game. But some fans are mad at the recent performances. England can’t play Spain, Germany, Portugal, and France because they are all on the other side of the draw.

England still has to win three games to play in the finals: the quarter-final and the semi-final to play in the final. In the next match, England will play against the four best third-placed teams in Groups D, E, or F on next Wednesday. England will play one of those teams in Germany, on Sunday.
