Have you ever wondered what negative mass would look like, or what would happen if it existed? Well, in Jujutsu Kaisen, a popular manga, a well-known character namely Gojo has the power to create negative mass and manipulate it at will, along with other abilities that come with the limitless technique.

Let’s first talk about Gojo’s infinity. Gojo’s infinity is a technique that is passed down in his family, and you can think of infinity as the baseline for the limitless technique. What infinity does is that it creates an infinite amount of space between anything that has the power to harm him. However, there are still ways you can counter limitless, those being subatomic attacks, domain expansions, domain amplification, or a specific cursed tool. But, if you don’t have any of those, you aren’t going to hurt Gojo by any means, as long as he has infinity on. He can also use infinity to hover over objects such as water.

The second use of the limitless technique is blue, which is the power to attract. Gojo, using his cursed technique, is able to bring negative distance into the world. However, since the laws of physics say that negative distance can’t exist, the negative space that Gojo creates is very forcefully filled until the negative space becomes normal space, and this process creates an effect that mimics a black hole. This can be used to bring an object to a certain coordinate, implode specific parts of his opponent’s body, and give himself teleportation, which I will explain right now. When he uses blue to teleport, he removes the space he has to physically travel, because blue allows him to manipulate space itself. This makes him the fastest sorcerer ever.

The third application of the limitless technique is red. Red is the opposite of blue. As blue attracts, red repels anything that comes near it. While it is rather simple and doesn’t have as many uses as blue, it can be extremely powerful and useful if used correctly. Since it is a reverse technique it can also be used to heal Gojo since it is made out of positive energy, which is what humans in Jujutsu Kaisen are made out of. He can also delay the effect of red, which can be useful sometimes.

The fourth application of limitless is hollow purple. As it implies, hollow purple is the combination of red and blue. Hollow purple is made up of imaginary mass. This makes it so that anything that hollow purple comes into contact with, is basically erased from existence on a subatomic level.

The last application of the limitless technique is the domain. With Gojo’s domain being limitless void. This is rather fitting as his technique is called limitless. It’s a lethal domain that forcefully injects a huge amount of information in everyone’s brain in the domain, effectively immobilizing them. There are only a few counters to this domain expansion.
