What’s your favorite season? Mine is summer because there is sunshine, ice cream, and vacation! Here’s why it’s the best:

Summer mornings are for sleeping in because you don’t have to wake up early for school or do homework. Fill your days with lots of fun adventures, play with your friends and family, explore, and make up your own awesome schedule.

Summer days are long and sunny, perfect for playing outside. Run through the sprinklers, build sandcastles at the beach, or cool off at the pool. Summer is like nature’s giant water park!

Summer is a season for delicious treats! There are ice cream trucks driving all around the neighborhood, lemonade stands on every corner, and maybe even a backyard barbecue with lots of yummy burgers and hot dogs.

Summer is all about spending time with friends. Have epic pool parties, build forts in the living room, or just hang out and tell stories. Make new memories that you’ll look back on and smile all year long.

Some people think spring is the best. Sure, the flowers start blooming, and the days get longer, but it can also be a bit bad. You battle unpredictable weather and allergies from all the pollen.

Winter might try to be the best with its sparkly snowflakes, but don’t be fooled! Those pretty flakes can turn into icy sidewalks and messy snow piles that make playing outside tricky. Plus, winter days are short, which means less time for all the fun things to do.

Fall might be some people’s favorite because leaves turn beautiful colors, but then they all fall down, creating giant soggy leaf piles to rake up. Fall also has shorter days, so you’ll have less playtime and the sunshine from summer turns chilly.

So next time someone complains about the heat, remind them of all the amazing things summer brings. It’s an awesome season!
