Throughout the whole year, my favorite part of the year is summer! Even though it is hot during the summer, you can do a lot of things. You can go to water parks with friends, eat ice cream and have cold drinks, and go to the beach.

During the summer, I like water parks. I would always go to any water park with my friends and have so much fun. We would always go on the slides, play some water games such as Marco Polo, water guns and balloons, and eat a lot of food such as fruit slices and popsicles. I also like going to Galveston or South Padre Beach with my friends and family. We would make some sandcastles, surf, and try to catch some small fish like Minos or school of fish.

I also like the summer because it is usually the time for vacation for my family. My parents work less and me and my two siblings in college don’t have school. We would like to visit relatives in Florida or around the world. We also took a lot of pictures during the vacation. At the end of the vacation, before we leave, we get some kind of souvenir such as a magnet, a sticker, or hat. So far, my favorite souvenirs are the two shirts and a hat we got from Cancun, Mexico.

During the summer I have a lot of free time. I can get bored occasionally but if I do, I will always try to go to a friend’s house where we play some video games such as Brawl Stars or Roblox. After we feel tired of the game, we would eat some snacks and then we would leave and go back to our houses.
