Do you know the famous SpongeBob films? How about Home Alone, or Shrek? What do you think their homes in real life will look like? Well Airbnb and other companies made the famous character’s homes into rentals and hotels.

SpongeBob lives in a pineapple, and sure enough to enter the hotel you have to go through a huge pineapple. Thankfully it’s not “under the sea” like in the films.

If you ever watched the movie Home Alone, you know that Kevin rigs his house with booby traps. And sure enough the hotel has the same booby traps, including a bucket of paint on the stairs and much more. You are also greeted by an actor in the film, Devin Ratray who played Kevin’s older brother in the film.

Would you live in a hotel covered in moss and mud? Well, welcome to Shrek’s house. It’s based on the Scottish Highlands and is quite cozy. Every detail is the same as Shreck’s real house in the movie and it even has earwax candles.

All these hotels are very creative and fun to stay in, since you get to “live” in a movie for a day. So, if you love movies, or are interested in what the inside looks like, come and visit these homes from famous films and movies.
