The Holocaust was the core reason that World War II began. The Holocaust was a period in time when the dictator of Germany, Adolf Hitler, captured millions of Jewish people and threw

them into concentration camps. There, they were forced to do manual labor, and

they went days without food. Millions of Jews were executed, and the others, like Romani

people, Jehovah’s Witnesses, and LGBTQ people were left to be slaves for the Germans.

The Holocaust had a major impact on power, due to the lack of freedom allowed to Jews. During this period, the power was shifted off of the Jews fully while the German’s skyrocketed. Since the Jews had no choice, as they were hostages of Germany, they conformed to expectations, and did what was told of them. Due to the increase in power to the Nazi, it made them the people they are today, they thought nothing could stop them, as they thought they were above everyone.

This shows that the imbalance in power can get to people, as this is what causes corruption in our own society. The people with power think that they can control everything, and use it to benefit themselves. So, the imbalance of power is the main reason that the Nazis could look down on the Jewish, handicapped people, people with disabilities, and people just they don’t like.

In conclusion, the imbalance of power between the Nazi and the Jewish people resulted in them being abused and taken advantage of.
