A blunder to another soul
Can start to make a wound,
As it festers on and on until
That person is consumed.
Yet the blame that’s from such grievances
Can never pick a side.
Who’s worse, the one who hurt the other –
Or their ruthless spite?
Since grace will triumph over judgment
As both sides can see,
Why not forgive and apologize,
Setting grudges free?
