There was an unsolved case, the murder of three women back in the 1980s. DNA shows that the man who committed these crimes might be a 75-year-old man known as Billy Ray Robinson. All the women he killed had been raped. The authorities still aren’t revealing all of the proof and don’t know if the victims knew Robinson.
Robinson was held at Tarrant County’s jail and is waiting to be transferred to Los Angeles. The families of these victims were probably waiting for this day. The Los Angeles district attorney said he was delighted that this long-lasting case had been solved. On Friday, many attempts to reach the families of these victims were unsuccessful.
The case of the teenage girl was reopened in 2001. The girl was killed in the neighborhood that she was partying in. That night she was at her friend’s house getting ready for a party. Then a white man who claimed he was from Canada named Ken came and drove her friend back to her house, but the victim wanted to keep partying. The girls separated at around ten and the body was found a few hours later.
The crime was said to be sexually motivated. Back in 2012, the case offered a 50,000 dollar award to the person who found and arrested the criminal. The police department had a lot of leads but needed the name of the criminal.
All of the murders were committed by a white man, but his test classified him as Black. There is no way to say this is part of the proof. A few months before the girl’s murder, two sisters in their 20s were also murdered. They were found by their brother who was checking in on them because he hadn’t heard from them in a few days. They were both shot in the head.
15 years later there was a 25,000 dollar award to the person who could find the killer of Wilson, who was murdered and her body found near Inglewood.
