Time can be your enemy or your friend,

Time can feel long or short,

Fun times are short,

Boring times are long.

Sometimes time is not always on our side,

It gets you in situations where it can get you in trouble,

Like being in your grumpy parents’ way,

Or being caught doing something.

But sometimes it decides,

That it will be your friend,

That will help you get out of a situation.

Like when the cookies in the oven are done just as your conversation was getting intense.

Time is powerful,

There are only 24 hours a day.

It can’t be stopped,

As it will remain,

There is the same amount of time each day for everyone.
