A Potential Change in our Future Roads

Research has shown that there is an alternative to cement processing by using foods. Researchers have tested a variety of food products, such as cabbages, onions, tea leaves, orange and banana peels, and much more.

For years scientists and entrepreneurs looked for possible solutions to slow the increase in global warming. After many attempts, researchers found a way to decrease CO2 amounts in the atmosphere by finding an alternative to cement manufacturing. This alternative method may also help with the issue of food waste.

It demonstrated that compacting these dried-up products would result in a material that is ultimately stronger than cement.

Using this alternative, we can reduce the production of cement significantly. With less cement, there is also less CO2 released. For every pound of cement that is made, 0.9 of a pound of CO2 is released into the atmosphere. With less CO2 released, it would help control global warming and climate change.

By using this new method of compacted foods, we will be able to create something even more effective than cement, and it will also benefit the environment at the same time. Foods thrown out can be put to use instead of ending up in landfills and eventually toxifying the environment. There will also be fewer gases going into the air from cement production.
