Dear Denise Chow,
I am writing to tell you that I really liked this article! It was very direct and didn’t waste any time getting to the point, and it also makes a very good point about pollution.
This is definitely an issue, since most of the plastic ends up in the ocean. It makes sea animals sick, such as whales, fish, and turtles. Plus, if we eat fish that have previously ingested microplastics, we can get sick too. I am glad that people are working on getting rid of these microplastics.
We should continue to try our best to properly recycle plastic objects, or to not use plastic at all. This can limit how much plastic gets into the ocean. I also think that “Guppyfriend” is a very creative and good solution to the problem of microplastics in our clothes.
From,
Emily Gu
