The tournament was hosted in the USA, and they won in their home country. Statistics show that 40 million people showed up at a match between China and the USA, which resulted in a win for the USA in penalties.

Though the USA is already out of the world cup this year. Instead, Australia, the home team, has better odds of getting the cup. Lots of people think the USA did a terrible job this year. They have not been able to make it into the semifinals or quarterfinals. The fans have been disappointed, and the players are really sad too.

The Australians have had a surprisingly, long run. They have already made it into the semi-finals and have a big chance, especially considering the fact that they are at home. Australia would certainly be overjoyed if they could take the trophy home.

Lots of other teams have also been eliminated. For example, England, China, and a lot more. These surprising eliminations have also brought more stories to the 2023 Women’s World Cup. The surprising element is one of the most important in soccer games.
