From June 26th to June 30th, the 2024 Glastonbury Festival will take place at Worthy Farm, near southwest England. Glastonbury is one of the world’s biggest performance arts festivals, with about 200,000 lucky attendees.

Every year, many famous contemporary artists perform throughout the festival. The 3 headliners for that year perform separately at the end of each day. This year, Coldplay, Dua Lipa, and SZA are the big headliners, and they will each perform a day on the main stage.

There is also a day when a music “legend” performs at the end of the day. A music legend is a popular and revered artist. This year, it’s Shania Twain!

Musicians including Camilla Cabello, Anne-Marie, Olivia Dean, Cyndi Lauper, and Arlo Park will also perform. Not to mention, bands like Jungle, Two Door Cinema Club and many other well known bands.

Besides observing the wonderful performances, there are other activities as well: performances, classes, experiences, arts and crafts, climbing, and even temporary tattoos! Kids also love going there because of these fun activities.

The temporary tattoos are a pretty big part of the festival. Musicians help design tattoos to raise awareness for the charity Water Aid. Water Aid helps give people access to clean water where there isn’t enough!
