Many people have watched a Pixar movie called “Up”. Recently, an Airbnb was designed to mimic the famous house in the movie. The designers even made the Airbnb hanging in midair from a crane! The balloons and other Up references were also replicated around the house to remind the guests of the movie, in the New Mexico desert in the U.S.
This house will make a lucky few able to visit a house in their childhood dreams a reality. The most shocking thing about this house is its price. Most hotels are 200 dollars to 300 dollars a night. However, this house is only 100 dollars a night. As a result, many people will want to visit this house, so how will the renting order be ordered? The answer is that the renters will be chosen from a lottery. That way, even a poor family has the same chance as a rich family to get this house.
This is not the only house available with this recreation of movie scenes. The Airbnb industry opened a lot of other iconic places to visit. They estimate that there will be 4000 stays in just 2024 alone. The industry hopes that this will get them more buyers so business can boom with this new idea. “Most people only ever open our app once or twice a year, and we’ve got to battle to make sure they think of us every single year. So this keeps us top of mind and culturally relevant,” Brian Chesky said in an interview with the New York Times. He hopes that this new innovation will bring more customers excited to visit their dream houses.
