A gown belonging to Princess Leia from the popular 1977 film Star Wars was put on auction at this week’s Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction. The gown was expected by Propstore, the company that owned the gown, to sell at a price of up to 2 million dollars. But, things didn’t go like how many people thought it would. Instead of a price of over 2 million, bidders stopped bidding at a price of 975,000. The minimum price needed to buy the dress was 1 million. “It may be sold after the auction in a private-treaty sale, or may be re-offered again in a future auction,” Propstore said.
