Chloe Covell may have injured two fingers, but that doesn’t stop her from trying to get Gold at the Olympics in which she will be competing at Paris.

Her two broken fingers won’t stop her from going to the Olympics. She hurt her fingers on her right hand by accidentally bending them all the way. Usually she would fracture her ankles, so they might have some stitches on her ankles. She still doesn’t let her injuries stop her from continuing skating. “With street skating you don’t grab your board, so it’s pretty chill.” she said.

She got her broken fingers by an accident at her training session two weeks ago. But she still continued to skate. Covell finally qualified for the Olympics and became an Olympian. She was still calm when she was there, taking pictures with her young fans. “I’m definitely a little nervous because it is the biggest stage. The biggest competition and there are just famous people walking around everywhere.” she said.

At 14 years old and 5 months, she is the youngest competitor to get into the Olympics. In the span of a year, Chloe has made the transition from young street skateboarding hopeful to world record-beater. Covell started to skate at the age of 6 and now she’s competing for her country on the world’s largest stage. Covell’s undeniable talent and passion are the foundation of a journey that’s unfolding on skateboarding’s biggest platforms.
