The word “Bird Brain” is a word that normally is used to describe unintelligent people. But some scientists say it should be used to describe smart people. An African Grey parrot, named Griffin, proved that some birds have a better memory compared to humans.
They found this out by playing a game called the shell game. In this game, you have a few cups with pom poms under it. In this game, Griffin competed against 21 undergraduate students and 21 kids aged 6 to 8. In this study, Griffin the parrot was much better at the game.
Griffin was a candidate for this experiment/study/game because he was related to humans in the case of brain functionality.
