At our lab, we practiced our fluency and how smoothly we can read complex sentences. Reread the poem here: [in Just-] by E. E. Cummings | Poetry Foundation. Then, consider the following:
- Read through the poem. Determine the theme or life lesson of it. Then, write a short paragraph which identifies and then proves the relevance of the theme in the poem.
- Using a similar structure as e.e. Cummings, write a poem that describes the wonders of fall or winter. Be sure to include symbols and play with punctuation, spacing, and capitalization
- Research more about e.e. Cummings and his accomplishments. Write a short informative article about him and his impact.
