The new Despicable Me 4 movie came out on July 3, 2024. It shows a new supervillain named Maxime Le Mal who has just escaped from prison after getting arrested by Gru and is planning to take revenge on him. Hearing this news, AVL, has warned them about the escape and helped them move into a safe house. Meanwhile, his minions are getting trained for AVL. Max has built a bug-shaped ship and is planning on using it to destroy Gru. But Gru, his newly born baby, Gru.Jr, and some of his minions are forced by Poppy, his neighbor’s daughter to go to his old school to steal a honey badger owned by the principal. So they went there by a hot air balloon and stole it, but after alerting the principal.

What I think of the Movie

This movie was great and very humorous. In one scene, Gru has just come back from grocery shopping and decides to play with Gru.Jr. But Gru.Jr shows no interest in playing with him and wants to play with Lucy, Gru’s wife and the way the baby acted was really funny. But the main thing that I liked is all the drama and how there are a lot of different characters in the movie. The minions were all very funny, and sometimes, I questioned how they do things. Like in one scene when there was a minion who got stuck inside the vending machine, I wondered how he even got in the machine. But one thing that I didn’t like is how in one scene Gru brought Gru.Jr on the mission and he almost got hurt, which made me really anxious.
