Hi. My name is Peach. As everybody says, I’m a household pet, but I think I’m the same as the rest of them. Every day, two times each, I get taken on walks and get fed. That’s lame. (Except for getting fed.)
Sometimes, if I’m lucky, I might find one or two squirrels to bark at. Now that’s fun. If I’m lucky, I might get to bark at them outside. I’ll show the squirrels who’s boss. Humans are overrated.
I’ve heard many dogs say that their humans are the best, but when it comes to mine, they are okay, but not the best. One time, They went to someplace called a “Mall” and stayed there for two hours! I’m fine with that, but by the time they came home, they forgot to give me dinner until eight o’clock.
I’m a very impatient dog so I tried to kill time by sleeping through most of it. Then, during the humans’ dinner, they gave me a chicken bone with most of the chicken still on it, so I forgave them.
Then, last night, They took me for a walk. I barked at two cats, three squirrels, and one dog. (But who’s counting.) When the humans went to sleep, I was still wide awake. So I made a chart about my favorite owners. Here is what it looks like:
1, Dad. Reason: He takes me out for walks and gives me food.
2, Mom. Reason: She makes all of the meals.
3, Brother and Brother. They have no reasons.
I have a secret. When nobody is watching, I practice something called Dog Judo. Dog Judo is something I picked up from another dog. Here is the story. One day at the dog park, I was play-fighting another dog. The dog had me pinned down, so I clawed his face and pushed him off of myself.
Then, every day, I taught myself some new moves. One of them is called the Clawing Paw. You just extend your paw and scratch somebody’s leg. I guess that is what they mean when you can teach a new dog old tricks and you can’t teach an old dog new tricks.
Speaking of old dogs, I saw an old dog next to our house. His name is Max. Then, on December 11, it was my birthday but I just took it as another normal day.
During dinner, when the entire family was home, they gave me a special meal with peanut butter and then an entire chicken leg. While I was eating, They sang happy birthday to me. So now I am officially 2 years old.
