On July 22, all you could see in the streets of Philadelphia was blue. It wasn’t any kind of blue either; it was Chelsea FC blue. Chelsea FC had been competing in the Premier League for many years and now, fans of the soccer club were celebrating.

In the Premier League Summer Series, there are nine games in five venues. Before each game a fan fest takes place. The fan fest has many fun activities. For example, there is a spinner where you might have a chance to receive an amazing soccer player’s jersey. During the fan fest, former and current soccer players will also be hanging out. You can have a chance to get their autographs, too. Using the fan fest, the Premier League hopes to gain more people to support it.

Soccer’s popularity keeps growing every year in America. Once the Washington Post asked people if they liked soccer. Most of the people said yes. Over the years, soccer has become more and more popular. Right now, 31% of all Americans say that they like soccer.

With the 2026 World Cup coming closer, the Premier League isn’t the only one American fans are watching. Other soccer leagues are also trying to make more people enjoy soccer. This way, more people like soccer; it will soon become a sport that grows extra-fast.
