Former President Donald Trump Is Faced With Criminal Charges After The 2020 Election

In August 2020, Donald Trump faces criminal charges over the 2020 presidential election in the U.S. He is being charged with four serious charges of breaking the law while trying to turn over the election, which he lost to Joe Biden. He tried to rig the votes to make it unfair and make him win instead of Joe Biden. Donald Trump is the 45th president of the United States. He served from 2017 to 2021, two terms in office. He lost the 2020 presidential election to Joe Biden, who is now the 46th president of the United States. During the elections, Donald Trump accused officials of miscounting the votes, which is where suspicious events started to happen.

Donald Trump is currently charged with four counts of knowingly trying to break the law in order to defraud, or trick, the United States into making him the winner of the presidential election. “Despite having lost, the defendant was determined to remain in power,” the indictment said of Mr. Trump. He even tried to convince the vice president at the time, Mike Pence, to change the election results. Donald Trump even gave several after the election to Mike Pence in an effort to block Biden’s victory in the election. Right after that happened, disaster struck.

Donald Trump’s supporters stormed into the Capitol building in Washington, D.C. The reason behind this is that during the riot, the U.S. Congress was in the process of making Joe Biden the new president. Trump wanted to stop this in any way possible, so he gave a speech to his supporters telling them to do this. “I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard,” Mr. Trump said. This means that Donald Trump was behind this. That was why people stormed into the Capitol building.

Donald Trump is currently facing criminal charges, and whether you like it or not, you have to face them. And you surely do not want to be the next Donald Trump and be charged with criminal charges. Trump will not be behind bars, but you probably will.
