Someone we can turn to,

To lift up our spirits,

And to make us smile.

Friends are there with you,

Every step of the way.

They will listen, and care about you.

You can count on them.

A friend will always be there,

No matter where you are,

Friends are always beside you,

Deep down in your heart.

After a long day,

You can laugh and chat with your friends.

You tell jokes and make plans,

The fun never ends.

Friends always stick together,

They make you feel better.

A friend is a gift.
