The Glastonbury Festival is one of the biggest festivals in the world. This year, it is from June 26-30 at Worthy Farm in southwest England.

20,000 people will be attending this festival, but it will also be broadcasted live on BBC iPlayer for the people who can’t go. The festival also includes temporary tattoos designed by musicians for charity.

There are also many singers at Glastonbury. There are usually always three big headliners who end each day of the festival with a big performance on the stage. This year’s headliners are Dua Lipa, SZA, and Coldplay.

There is also a space for a musical ‘legend’ who has been in the musical industry for a long time and is very respected. This year, it will go to Shania Twain.

There will also be pop singers like Olivia Dean, Anne-Marie, and Camila Cabello, bands like Jungle, Bombay Bicycle Club, and Two Door Cinema Club, and other popular people and bands like Little Simz, Cyndi Lauper, LCD Soundsystem, and Arlo Parks. Some popular past performers that they’ve had at Glastonbury are Elton John and Paul McCartney.

And not only is there music at the festival, but there are also lots of other fun activities. There’s a massive kids’ area with music classes, a climbing wall, and other crafts.

Additionally, many people bring flags with their country on them, bring personalized flags, football club flags, or pride flags.

Musicians at the festival designed temporary tattoos to raise awareness for Water Aid, a water charity. The tattoos have an open mouth with purple lips and it is saying “SHOUT! FOR WATER”. These tattoos will be given out at water fountains and bathrooms.
